Veteran Pakistani actress Ayesha Khan was found dead in her Karachi apartment, approximately a week after her passing. The 76-year-old actress was discovered in a decomposed state at her Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7 residence after neighbours reported a foul odour coming from her flat. Authorities found her body on June 19, and it’s believed she had been dead since June 13. Her death has sparked an outpour of grief from fans and colleagues, with many paying tributes to her legacy in the entertainment industry.

After neighbours noticed a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the apartment, they informed the police. The body was then found and taken to Jinnah Hospital for a medical examination to find out the cause and time of death. After the initial check-up, the body was moved to a mortuary for further procedures. The police are investigating Ayesha Khan’s death, talking to neighbours and family members to learn more. It seems she lived alone and didn’t have much contact with others.
