At the grand re-release screening of her iconic film Umrao Jaan, Rekha stole the spotlight maintaining her status as a Bollywood icon. The legendary actress ruled the evening with a stunning look inspired from her character in Umrao Jaan, graciously greeting guests and sharing memorable moments with AR Rahman and Anil Kapoor amongst others, as her classic from 1981 prepares for a second theatrical run, now digitally restored in stunning 4K.
Umrao Jao has been directed by Muzaffar Ali and has Rekha as the leading lady. The actress looked ethereal in an ethnic ensemble for the premiere night.
