Brad Pitt has said he’s willing to work with Tom Cruise again, but only if he’s not expected to do any major stunts. The 61-year-old actor, who last shared screen space with the Mission: Impossible star in Interview with the Vampire back in 1994, recently admitted he’s open to reuniting with Cruise, as long as he doesn’t have to leave the ground this time.

Brad Pitt’s next appearance will be in F1, a high-speed racing film directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski.

In F1, Brad Pitt takes on the role of Sonny Hayes, a former racing champion who makes a comeback to the track. Teaming up with rising star Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, Hayes sets out to reclaim glory and chase the title of the world’s best Formula One driver.

Interestingly, while Brad Pitt prefers to steer clear of high-risk stunts in a potential film with Tom Cruise, he pushed the limits for his upcoming movie F1. He actually drove real Formula One cars at speeds reaching 180 miles per hour during filming.

At a Q&A event in March, director Joseph Kosinski praised Brad’s instincts behind the wheel. “He just had that natural feel for grip in the car, and what we’re doing on this film is dangerous,” he said. “So yeah, you have to be fearless, and when you see Brad driving, that’s not acting.”

Kosinski further added, “He’s fully focused on keeping the car on the track and away from the wall in every scene. That’s not something you can fake. I hope the audience senses that realism when they watch the film.”

The director also revealed that Brad Pitt went through months of training to get ready for the racing sequences. As part of his preparation, he even learned the finer aspects of the sport from none other than seven-time Formula One world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton.

It will undoubtedly be a treat for the fans if Brad Pitt does end up reuniting with Tom Cruise.
